Sometimes, you lean into your pedals to negotiate the terrain, while the relaxation is bound to return sooner rather than later as the downhill gradient of the gravely trail takes care of the rest.

Uphill, downhill or straight ahead – our bike routes live up to every expectation: family excursions, E-bike and mountain-bike expeditions as well as road-cycling tours. With impressions of colorful alpine meadows, crystal-clear mountain streams and imposing panoramas never in short supply. Ascend alpine passes on your MTB, zoom down the far side of the mountain, or enjoy a leisurely bicycle tour as you and your family peacefully explore the beautiful Salzburg countryside. We are also happy to share our own valuable personal tips for whatever your plans may be.

We have high-quality, well-maintained mountain bikes in all sizes for our guests to borrow from us for free. E-bikes can also be rented out for a small fee.
Stoneman Taurista
EXTRAORDINARY MTB Trail BOASTING 123 kILOMETERS, 4500 VERTICAL METERS AND 360° ALPS
Tackle 123 kilometers and an intimidating 4500 vertical meters in search of breathtaking panoramas – the Stoneman Taurista leads you to lush alpine meadows, rustic mountain huts and the summit crosses of Salzburger Land. The impressive mountain scenery surrounding the Lürzerhof serves as the backdrop for this extraordinary mountain biking adventure.
In 3 balanced stages, you will make your way over the Griessenkareck and continue through the Bike Park to Wagrain. Awaiting you then is the 1768 meters-tall Rossbrand. Your reward is jaw-dropping panoramic vistas of 150 striking alpine peaks – including the Dachstein, Bischofsmütze and Hohe Tauern range highlighted by the Grossglockner. Heading south, the Stoneman Taurista brings you to the alpine idyll of the Oberhütte. After ascending the 2110 meters-high "Königsanstieg", the route now takes you through the winter sports mecca of Obertauern and back to the valley communities of the Salzburger Sportwelt region.

Gold: 1 day
1st stage: Untertauern – Radstadt – Altenmarkt – Sattelbauer – Griessenkar – Wagrain – Altenmarkt – Rossbrand – Mandling – Oberhütte – Obertauern – Untertauern
Silver: 2 days
1st stage: Untertauern – Radstadt – Sattelbauer – Griessenkar – Schloss Höch – Radstadt, then by hiking bus to Untertauern
2nd stage: Untertauern – Radstadt – Rossbrand – Mandling – Oberhütte – Obertauern – Untertauern
Bronze: 3 days
1st stage: Untertauern – Radstadt – Sattelbauer – Griessenkar – Schloss Höch – Radstadt, then by hiking bus to Untertauern
2nd stage: Untertauern – Radstadt – Altenmarkt – Rossbrand – Mandling – Radstadt, then by hiking bus to Untertauern
3rd stage: Untertauern – Radstadt – Mandling – Oberhütte – Obertauern – Untertauern
